Message from the Fire Chief
Know us before you need us!
Thank you for taking the time to visit the Orleans Fire-Rescue website. I hope you find our website informative and helpful. The Orleans Fire Department is a proud organization providing dedicated service to the citizens and visitors of Orleans.
The men and women strive to provide the best emergency services possible. Our staff of Firefighter/Paramedics and Firefighter/EMTs respond to a wide variety of emergencies including fires, emergency medical services, technical rescue incidents, boat rescues, motor vehicle crashes or any other emergency that may occur.
As a department, we also work to prevent emergencies from occurring and educate our community on what to do when an emergency occurs. You will see our members in the community providing fire inspections and code enforcement or conducting classes like our Citizen’s Fire Academy, CPR, or Stop the Bleed.
We will continue to improve the Orleans Fire Department to meet the many challenges we may face, as we remain focused on protecting our community.
I am proud to be your Orleans Fire Chief and welcome any questions and concerns you may have. Please feel free to contact me at 508.255.0050 or directly via email.
Yours in service,
Geof Deering
Chief of Department
